First of all, thanks in advance for your great site and the service it provides!

I have a question. If I set up three pairs of fee options based on timeframe for our 2/18/06 event intending to penalize those who wait to register, like this:

$50 single heat/$90 double heats through 12/31/05
$60 single heat/$110 double heats 1/1/06-2/10/06
$75 single heat/$125 double heats 2/11/06-2/18/06

Does that go as three disbursement checks each paid the following Tuesday (i.e. the first check goes out Tues 1/3/06), or does it all go together for payment after the event takes place on 2/18/06?

We traditionally require pre-payment and typically use these entry fees to pay advance site rentals and insurance, during the 30 days before the event. I'm just trying to figure out how to keep doing that, as it makes things a lot easier for us financially... it won't work if we've gotta wait until after the event to receive the disbursement check.

Thanks again and happy holidays-

Hi Jon -

A single disbursement is sent for all monies received (less fees) the Tuesday following the close of registration for your event.

In your example, the single disbursement check would be sent out on 2/21/06.

It isn't normal procedure, but a disbursement check can be cut prior to the close of registration in order to support special circumstances like yours. You'll need to submit your request through the MyAutoEvents "Contact Us" page when the time comes around.
