This is my first time registering with this crappy Myautoevents website for an SCCA event and I have to say that this is the crappiest, crappy thing out there for registration. Seriously, REQUIRING that personal information be given out on an UN-encrypted website?!?! I don't think so. REQUIRING a second driver?!?! I guess me, myself and I will be getting a lot of seat time. REQUIRING drivers license number?!?! If someone is going to steal your identity that is a good thing to have. Dare I go on? Let's just say the * received a lot of use and if the registrar wants my info, they'll have to contact me some other way.

Let's not forget, having to register AGAIN for the forum just to post an issue?!?! If I could have just sent an e-mail to someone suggesting the use of encryption I never would have made such a scathing remark but just because I had to register AGAIN just to state a comment, well, I think you get the idea. Seriously, a website worth their salt will have to re-think their strategies.

If I have a choice, and believe me, I'll be trying, I refuse to use this crappy thing ever again.

This includes giving the registrar the ability to specify whether a data element is required or not. When a data item is required, it is simply not allowed to be blank. You could use the words "available on request" or "none" for data elements that you consider private or don't apply to you. This would fulfill the data requirement for the form.

If you have concerns about the data that is being collected or its relevance to the event, then you should let the registrar for the event know your concerns so that they can address them.

General entry information is accepted through non-encrypted pages. Payment information is processed through encrypted channels for added security. All data is kept private and not shared with any outside entity other than the payment processor (as needed) and registrar for the event. See the privacy statement for more details - .

This support forum is a seperate entity from the registration website. An account is required for posting here to try and ensure that those posting questions to the forum are legitimate users with actual questions and concerns - and not anonymous individuals or spam-bots posting Porn or online Pharmacy advertisements.

If you wanted to send an email to MyAutoEvents directly and without creating account credentials, that functionality is available from the "Contact Us" link on the left menu on the main site. Most submissions are answered within a couple hours when sent through that mechanism.

This is probably one of the best sites I've used for event registration. I represent the Susquehanna Region SCCA and without this website I do not know how our club would have moved into the new millenia.

I'm surprised at some people not know what goes on behind the scenes without actually participating in it. People think being the registrar is a piece of cake. Just check mark what you need for an event and it's all done. I'm guessing this fellow is one of them. Next time get all your facts straight before you start pointing fingers at people.

It is YOUR REGIONS'S registrar that selected the items that are required/not required for you to enter, not's fault. Bring your beef to him/her not this place.
